On May 30, 2026, The Princess Margaret will be hosting our second Cricket event! Co-ed teams made up of rookies, ringers, celebrities and players of all ages and skill levels will come together to raise funds for life-saving cancer research. When you register to play, you are going to bat for everyone who has been affected by this disease. With 2 in 5 Canadians being diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, this is one game we all need to play.
Online Check In

All participants must check in and be registered to a team in order to play. If you don’t check in in advance, please arrive at least 30 minutes before your first game. Once checked in, you’ll receive your participant ID band, which gives you access to games, activations, and the food pavilion.
Captain Kit Pickup
Captains can pick up team kits at the Yashi Sport Merch Shop (located directly at the entrance) on Match Day from 7:00–9:00 AM.
Kits include:
- All participants (Both Captains and Players) must collect their Player ID band at the kiosks located between the Registration and Merch containers (clearly marked and steps away from Kit Pickup!).
- Team participant shirts.
- 2026 Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation Cricket silicone bracelets ( 1 for each member of your team).
- Captain Recognition gift.
The Player ID band grants access to the Brar’s Food Pavilion, where lunch is provided for registered players only.
Celebrity Draft Night

Time: 5:30pm – 9:00pm

Opening Ceremonies: 9:45 AM – 10:30 AM
Brar’s Food Pavillion Opens: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Securian Canada Ambassador Lounge Teatime Toast (exclusive invite for all Cricket Ambassadors): 12:00 PM
Matches Conclude: 4:15 PM
Celebrity Match: 4:30 PM
Note: Each team who hits the fundraising minimum of $6,000 is guaranteed to play 3 matches throughout the day. Please continue to check Tournify for updated match day schedule.
Match Day Parking
Free parking will be available underground at Celebration Square (300 City Centre Drive) enter from Duke of York Boulevard and the Living Arts Centre (4141 Living Arts Drive). There is also nearby free parking across the street at Square One. Accessible parking is available at P3 and underground.
Important Notes to All Participants
- Please ensure to arrive 30-45 minutes before your first match.
- Continue to check your match day schedule leading up to the event as there may be slight changes as the schedules are finalized.
- All equipment will be provided by PMCF and not to leave the event grounds.
- When you don’t have a game, you can grab lunch and beverages. Be sure to check out our batting cage activation or the Yashi Sport Merch shop when your team is not playing!
- If you qualify as an Ambassador, you will receive an exclusive invite into the Securian Canada Ambassador lounge (raise $1000 +).
Team Photos
Lights, camera, action – our photographers will be coming around to the pitches on Match Day to capture a photo of your team!
Fundraising Minimum
Don’t forget to keep fundraising. you could score a draft pick and stack your team with a celeb or qualify to play for our Cricket Cup.The Top 10 Individual Fundraisers will also get to play against our celebs in the Celebrity match.

Street Cricket Format
Cricket is a sport that is loved around the world. It has a rich history and can be played in many formats. We’ve made a few modifications to ensure participant safety and increase speed of play. Check out our Official PMCF Match Day Rules to prepare before you play.
Corporate & Community Divisions
Each Cricket team will fall into one of two divisions: Corporate or Community. Building a corporate team is the ultimate employee engagement activity. It’s a great way to bond with colleagues and challenge others in your industry to suit up for a worthy cause. Creating a community team is the perfect way to bring family, friends, classmates and neighbours together. On Match Day, teams will be paired up based on the skill level that they have identified. We welcome all players, regardless of their level of experience.
Celebrity Draft
Before the event, our top fundraising teams will have the opportunity to add a cricket celebrity to their roster through our celebrity draft! Stay tuned for more details on who will be playing and tips to get you on the leaderboard.

When you join Cricket, you are committing to a fundraising minimum first and cricket match second. All your fundraising efforts directly support life-saving cancer research at The Princess Margaret.
